The mind is very powerful and most of us take it for granted, totally underestimating what can be achieved when we control our thoughts. How many of us train our bodies through exercise and focus on nutrition for healthy eating and living, but neglect the greatest and most powerful thing we have in our possession which will change our lives – our mind?

Whether as part of a coaching plan, or as a distinct therapy journey, I am passionate in helping you use your mind to achieve the goals you want in life, by optimising your mind’s effectiveness – whether this is to increase your peak performance, make positive changes or just reduce your anxiety or stress levels.

Combining therapeutic practices such as Hypnotherapy, Psychotherapy, NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) and Reiki, reinforced through the latest developments in neuroscience, I will help you regain control in your life by reducing your levels of stress and anxiety, or optimise your performance so you can achieve the freedom you desire and lead the life you want.

There is no requirement for you to relive the trauma or the difficult memories and experiences you have had in your life, which in some cases make you feel worse. I will instead guide you on future positive outcomes based on Solution Focused Therapy and targeted visualisations so that you leave the sessions feeling calm, positive and uplifted, making long term and permanent changes.

Solution Focused Therapy and NLP

Solution Focused Therapy

Solution Focused Therapy is a combination of Psychotherapy (talking therapy) and Hypnotherapy (the clinical application of hypnosis), to induce a trance like state in which you have heightened focus and concentration, yet feel calm and relaxed to help you conquer whatever limitations or issues you need to resolve without fear or distress.

Rather than discussing  and reliving past issues or trauma which can often lead to further negative thinking, Solution Focused Therapy focuses on what you want to achieve rather than on the problem that you seek to change and uses practical, modern and well researched strategies, backed up by neuroscience to make significant and positive changes. It is proven to be quick and efficient in helping clients move forward with their lives to create happy future.

NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming)

NLP is an approach to communication, personal development and psychotherapy where there is connection between the neurological processes (neuro), language (linguistic) and behavioural patterns learned through experience (programming), which can be changed to achieve specific goals in life. NLP is particularly useful for you in the treatment of phobias, negative thoughts and memories, depression, emotional trauma and psychosomatic illnesses , in addition to enhancing your performance and confidence. Through a combination of these therapies, I will help you overcome a whole range of issues.

Sessions

Whether you are looking achieve peak performance, increase confidence, define your life strategies, maintain resiliency or cope better with stress and anxiety or gain control over undesired behaviours, therapy sessions will help change your mindset to be more open to solutions, whilst remaining in complete control of your behaviour. 

Every individual is unique, so I would expect that you would assimilate and make changes at the pace which is comfortable for you, rather than rigidly maintaining a pre-defined timeframe. On average, however I would anticipate seeing you for approximately 5 to 12 sessions, with challenges such as phobias  conducted requiring the least and OCD taking more.

Through an Initial Consultation we will discuss the full process, including an in depth explanation on how the brain works for your specific issue and how I can help. It is important that you feel confident that I am the right person to help you as for solution focused therapy to work you need to be fully committed. With this in mind there is no obligation to book a session at the end of the Initial Consultation and whatever you choose to do, you will still have a greater understanding of your issue and can take that knowledge with you in the future.

If you do choose to book sessions with me, we will build upon this knowledge throughout your treatment and you will be provided with an guided audio MP3 along the way  so you can continue to self manage your own resilience post therapy.
